Girl!!!!
In Jeremiah 1:5, God comes to Jeremiah and says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
We’ve found out that we’re having a girl – but God didn’t find that out, He knew — He knew before she was being formed in Liz’s womb.
We’re still talking about names, but God knows what her name is going to be.
We’re dreaming about what she will be like, what experiences will form her, and what God is consecrating and appointing her for, but God knows all of those things.
And we get to be excited. Not just for our daughter, but for you. Because God knows you as well as He knows her. He’s consecrating and appointing you for your role in His kingdom.
We just get to sit back, watch it happen, and be excited at His working in our lives.
