Join us for Ash Wednesday at University Lutheran on March 1st, 2017. Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the season of Lent. Thinking of the life of a plant, Lent might be considered a time of pruning. It is a time when we cut back on certain things – perhaps how busy we are or some of the excesses that we have been indulging in – in order to make room for growth. We prepare for the growth that is the coming of Jesus Christ and the celebration of Easter.

This Ash Wednesday at University Lutheran, we will be considering how we take our fast with us throughout the season.
