Our sermons are only a part of our Sunday morning, but they are an important part – they are the Word of God presented to us in our context so that we can repent, seek to amend our lives, and receive God’s grace through the power of the Gospel.

We talk about how we refocus ourselves in Lent from a focus on ourselves to a focus on Jesus and who He is, specifically this Sunday that He is our sacrifice.
We start our Lenten fast together with the celebration of Ash Wednesday, asking the question of how we may mistake what Lent is all about, replacing God’s work for ours.
We finish our “Together with Jesus” series with Transfiguration and we ask the question “What does it prove?” that Jesus was Transfigured before His disciples.
