Our sermons are only a part of our Sunday morning, but they are an important part – they are the Word of God presented to us in our context so that we can repent, seek to amend our lives, and receive God’s grace through the power of the Gospel.
We start off Advent talking about the prophet Amos and the completion that Jesus brings.
We continue after the Passover meal and get to listen in to Jesus’ conversation with His disciples as they go to the garden of Gethsemane together.
We finish up our “Centered” series and our “A Jesus Centered Community” annual focus with Christ the King Sunday and talking about how Christ has placed us in places to be responsible, but that He ultimately takes responsibility for us.
We join Jesus in John 13 and 14 as we hear about His celebration of the Passover and the “Farewell Discourse”
We talk about how we are centered in Jesus even when times are tough, and are called to hold fast to Him.
We continue walking through John together, getting to the point of Jesus entering into Jerusalem triumphantly after a BIG happening in the city of Bethany.
We spend some time talking about values, especially what the world values vs what the Kingdom of God values.
We talk some about Jesus being the Good Shepherd as He heals a blind man and then continues His argument with the religious rulers of Jerusalem.
Join us as we continue walking through the Gospel of John
We talk about the word “catholic” and what it means, and how it challenges us to see the Church in a bigger way.
