Our sermons are only a part of our Sunday morning, but they are an important part – they are the Word of God presented to us in our context so that we can repent, seek to amend our lives, and receive God’s grace through the power of the Gospel.
We talk about Reformation Day and the Gospel that we own as people of Jesus.
We talk about the impression we leave with people, but how having that as our motivation might not be helpful.
We talk about how we are gifts to others and others are gifts to us, all saved together by Jesus.
We continue reading John together, looking at chapters 5 and 6
We continue Together with Jesus in John, looking at chapters 3 and 4
We begin our journey through John together with John 1 and 2.
We finish off the Gospel according to Luke!
We talk about who our enemy is and find that it is maybe not who we thought it was.
We talk about how the first will be last and servant of all as we continue our “catch phrase” series.
We’re almost there! Only 24 chapters in Luke and we begin hearing about Jesus’ passion in Luke today!
