“Before Christendom” is our current Christian education series. In it, we look at the writings of Christians (and heretics!) from just after the writing of the New Testament up until the time when Christianity was made legal by the Roman Government.
Today we talk about two Christian writers who ended up being declared heretics (Eusibeus and Novitian), a Christian bishop who rose to fame so quickly that it caused questions to be raised about him, and about a group of Christians called the “lapsii”. This is also the last installment of our “Before Christendom” study.
